I'll cut right to the chase with this question...
I have a human character model...anatomically correct etc etc...
I have a low and high poly version in the same file.
I am mapping and texturing the high poly version, and using the low res version as a proxy for the animation in another file.
The low poly version has been rigged using Character Studio and max's skin modifier.
The rigging works well for both versions of the model, (I've tested this) however when the character is moved around, and the high res model is substituted for rendering, I am experiencing what I can only describe as 'breakup' in certain area's of the high res model.
I would say this is something some of you may have had to deal with at some stage. And any advice on the do's, dont's and the exact possiblitys of Xrefing and 'organic' models, would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance....
(I can post a couple of pics of the models if required.)
