Hello everybody !

I'm currently working on a custom script for maya which I plain to allow me some specific actions. My purpose is to duplicate something based on a specific mouse input.
My goal is to move (via the tweak mode) a vertex if I use the classic left click of the mouse, and to duplicate it if I use the middle click of the mouse.

I don't have find in the hotkey editor how to change this, I'm wondering if the way of how the mouse is handle in maya is fully native and can't be changed ?

Alos, I'm wondering how to do this in a mel script to quickly enable/disable this way of working. I only want to duplicate a vertex (by example) only if I have pressed a button.

I hope my questions are enough clear ! :)
