I have had the Heavy Metal with this story in it since it came out in 87 and always thought it would make a cool animated film. Unfortunately, from the trailer, it does not do Bilal style justice. Go out and get the graphic novel instead.

you will have to give this movie a shot, because Bilal himself is directing the adaptation of his work, and that in itself is rare if not unique enough. His first movie Tykho Moon was quite an experience :)
