View Full Version : "Spectral" geometry source in scene?

I am rendering a shot and there appears to be a small bit of leftover geometry-looks like a panel and buttons from a model of a spaceship interior that I imported some time back in the history of the scene-I cannot select the geometry in question and it isnt visible in the viewport.
Only in a render.
I checked layers--nothing is clicked to template mode
I checked unhidden

Any thoughts on how I can get at this weirdness?
I want to render a moving cam shot in two layers
but the ghost turns up in the background with only the creature visible so if I render it separate that geometry will overlap the backdrop

Thanks if anyone can help me with this ghost polygon problem

I guess its probably something I can get at in the outliner
now I seem to recall something happening once before and using the outliner solved it
