Hi this is my first post here...

I would love to design and sketch mechs, spaceships and also buildings. But I have never been really successful in sketching a single mech or spaceship. I use photoshop mainly to draw and paint but I also use pen or pencil.

I look at the pro's speed paints and designs and I just melt :o.

Anyway I would like to ask you what should I start with to design these technological stuff, im lost :/.

You should probably get a book on industrial design (or entertainment design). There is a thread currently in the main discussion forum about it. Those books will teach you how to plan, design, and execute your ideas, as well as the creative theories behind the design--such as ergonomics, functionality, usage of material, form, manufacturing...etc.
