View Full Version : Animation: Tolerance?
This is my and Martin Löfqvist's animation for the MTV Nordic Animation Competition. Sorry about the bad quality, It's field rendered for TV and then just resized and compressed. I can upload a better quality version later.

Hey pttr..........that is so cool,
I loved your animation......and the idea is fantastic.
who did the dialogue........very nice.
I am currently working on a lipsync myself, and have a tendency to really emphasize the lip animation....what I found interesting in your piece was that you kept it relatively subtle and it still works wonderfully.
So did you win the mtv thing or what? I'd vote for it.

Very good execution.. I suppose if I were a liberal I would be moved by it. :p

Great piece, loved the puppet-style lipsync, I used to do puppet shows for kids in high school. Awesome job with the texturing too.
There's a part at the beginning where he seems to be speaking, or maybe clearing his throat to cough, but there's no audio, was something left out, or is my system just skipping?
Thanks everyone! Omnicrola -> Yeah, it should be sound there, but we didn't have time to fix that :( The deadline was yesterday so we'll see how it goes!
pretty good man.. and good luck....
love the puppet style

Thanks everyone! Yeah, the sound is the weak point I'd say, we didn't have much time to do that good. Now I can't wait to see how we'll do in the competition! :)

Very good ideas and also good execution. If the numbers are accurate you should consider contacting a local television station or a group that does public service annoucments. They would probably run it for you.

Great concept and execution. This shows how our industry can take an active role in the world around us. You really should check television stations to get them to run it for as a public service.
Thanks! The numbers should be accurate, we have good sources. Yeah, I'll look into airing it on TV after the competition is finished. 5 december we will know who won... (nervous)
