View Full Version : rendering every half frame?
wabash 11-04-2011, 07:48 PM I have a 150 frame fx sequence. I need to render this double the length for post purposes (so it needs to be 300 frames total). Insteading of going back and re-doing the fx I was wondering if I could render every half frame? Is there a way to render subframes?
Thanks for your help!!

You can put 0.5 in the "By frame" field in the renderglobal

nookie thanks!
I'm using a custom render globals setup. Do you know if there is a mental ray flag for "step by" thanks!!!

I don't really know what are you talking about (what do you mean by custom render global?! :)), but if you render trough batch render you can use the -b flag
