CGTalk - Tintin The Game

Hi everybody !

Unusually, I’m back this time with commanded material. This is animations I’ve made for the game « Tintin et le secret de la licorne le jeu » (The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn The game), based on the same name movie which will be in theatres very soon.
It’s a Platform/Adventure game designed for the youngest. It was made for Wii, even if it will run for PS3 and X360, wich explains the lacks of polygons, bones, etc…
The animations for the game are all keyframed, unlike cinematic scenes.

Really cool animation man!
Just one thing that bothered me- the body slams. Nothing wrong with the animation but I'm wondering about why this movement was selected by the big guys sitting above you. In all of Herge's comic books I don't think I've ever seen a body slam, only punches and some wrestling. Body slams look so un-Tintin :D
