CGS Membership Payment > secure site SSL

Dear Moderation Team,

I would like to renew my membership but the offered link gives me
an unsecured website window (no https or ssl). Maybe it´s just me
but I don´t type credit card information onto a non-secure website.
Is there a link to a secured window?

Hey Fahrija,
The link http://connect.cgsociety.org/index.php/join is a temporary way for people to join and renew while we implement the new signup procedure in a few months time. The page does actually have a frameset in it that pulls in the secure page https://www.cgsociety.org/join/incl_processing_cgsconnect.php so while it doesn't show that it is secure with the little lock icon (depending on your browser) it is actually nice and secure. If you would feel safer you can open the page https://www.cgsociety.org/join/incl_processing_cgsconnect.php directly and continue renewing in that fashion.
