Hi Guys;

Hopefully tomorrow I will get my new PC, it should be...

1- ASUS PC DL Deluxe.
2- Dual 2.8 Xeons.
3- 1G DDR400 - out of my old system
4- AIW 9800 pro - out of my old system
5- 120G SATA - out of my old system

First I would like to thank all who have helped me making my mind. As you may wonder what "out of my old system" is, it's just away to inform you that I'm not a wealthy guy :), this system was built step by step...

Now, as a way to return the favor to this community, and help others make up their mind easly, I would love to get suggestion and advices on how to benchmark my system in a professional way so that it can be a guid for other and me...

Thanks again!

lol i just finished replying to your other post about opterons vs. xeons.

I totally agree on the choice you made...well just read my reply for the details. no use repeating it here...

About the benchmarking, let me know how it turns out. Unfortunately this is an area i have no idea in. That system of yours sounds sweet though so let me know because i'm thinking of leaning towards the dual Xeons as well.

peace

allawy: In the other thread I said to save money and get DDR333, but if it's from your old system then nevermind. You're already saving money recyling your old ram into your new XEON box. ;) Way to go!

Thanks Guys, my system may be delayed again for a day or two :(, I hate this when it happen...

anyway, I still have my old system single P4 2.4 HT FSB 800, I can benchmark this too for people who wants to buy such a PC, I have a friend that will send me the 3D Mark software to use, but this is mainly for games, I will use Cinebench (already did with the current one), I need you help too in that, suggestions, suggestions, suggestions! :wavey: What else should I use?
