View Full Version : wrong hdri w/ fr-1

i put a hdri-map in my environment.
(coordinates are also set to environment)
but for some reason the reflections on my sphere are wrong. (see pic)
i dont know why.. :hmm: any ideas?

Just so you know, when you say HDRI it can mean a lot of stuff, image based lighting using a high dynamic range image, reflections using a high dynamic range image, high dynamic range images can also be used in compositing, try to be a little more specific eh!
to fix the problem tho, you have to change the mapping type for the environment, usually you have a bunch of options, which one is right depends on the environment map

however.. i already solved this problem.
the hdri-image had the wrong format. :banghead:
(i misunderstood the transformation-types
in hdr-shop a bit)
(coordinates are also set to environment)
meant spherical of course ;)
thx anyway..all working fine now
