Snoopy 06-09-2002, 04:53 AM :bounce: there is a scene in \Scenes\SimCloth251 called Sc_tutorial07.max , in this scene, the thirt is simply created in modelling,but,when calculation begins,the thirt became tightness and fit the shape of the body,not fall down as usual.how to get this?:scream:

there's a spinner value which controls the "tightness" between the vertices. increasing that value should do what you want... unfortunately i can't remember what it's called... check the help file for details.

In the sim cloth modifier play around with the BONDS SCALE settings...
there are x, y and z values for these....
If you don't wan't the cloth to just 'drop' put less on the z value...
ie...x : 1.0
y : 1.0
z : 0.5
in addition the 'gravity' will also affect this....
and if you want certain parts of your cloth to remain at a certain positions in relation to your 'deflector' use a linked xform modifier...
