Hi there,

after modeling the fiat 500 and loosing the motivation, I´m now trying to model a corvette c5-r by myself. But I got some problems.

Here´s the part I wanna model, but I don´t have a clue how to do that:

I´m using 3dsmax5. When I was done with the modeling part, I added a meshsmooth modifier with iterations 2, to see the result, but it just looks like a strange wave.

Would be happy 4 help!!

Are you using nubs or polys? i think polys are the way to do anyways start with a grid and have one colom per vent... then extrude one colom into the surface and pull it forward. repeat for every vent.
