View Full Version : Solid Textures in Game Engine
Why would a game engine treat solid textures as transparent?
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

You've probably tried the following already, but read it just in case:
Targa, PSD and other formats have alpha channels. So even if the picture appears to be solid, and you haven't provided any opacity map to the engine, it might still read the alpha map and use it to determine opacity levels for your texture.
Open your picture in PS, open the channel palette, select Alpha and fill it with white.
