View Full Version : Balloons lifting a house..sounds familiar?

hello
I need to replicate the effect from a very famous scene from the pixar movie Up.
there should be a bunch of balloons lifting a house.
I would need less balloons in order to show very clearly their dynamics and the tension they apply on the cables.
Does anyone have any suggestion on how to do it?

If you are working with dynamic simulations definitely have a look at momentum. The old trailer for version 2 shows a scene which does something similar:

Meanwhile we have version 3 which adds a lot more goodness ;)
