Stevo 06-08-2002, 08:54 PM Hello all,
I posted a head model several days ago, and got some great criticism, and I appreciate you all taking the time to help. I have recently textured, added hair, and to boot depth of field. Tell me what you think...

Hi Stevo,
This is not bad at all. I think the problem is the size-balance between all the parts of the face. Mainly her eyes are too wide and her upper lip too high, maybe lower the end of the nose for that.
Try to look at the face as a whole, not as a collection of different items. That's my main tip.

(btw english is not my language and it's late here  ).
Nice modeling and texturing there :)
for the crits i agree with jeroentje and might add that the iris are too big in comparaison with the rest. The bottom part of the nose seems to kinda hang there... maybe try to revise the "wings" of it by bringing 'em up a bit and makin them a bit more round.
could you post more shots ? it would help for crits...
keep it up

sorry, please excuse; I forgot to render the scene with eyelashes on the 2nd render. She looks freaky without em...

I have to agree with the comments made before.
I also think her forehead is a bit to round and slanted, her mouth is very small and her nose is really thin, the nostrils on the counterary look too thick and the nose too broad.
I also think you made her head to thin, I think this because it looks like her eyes pop out like that (see front view).
She's missing some cheekbone.
Some more tweaking will solve all this.
What really bothered me was the colours of the texture. The color on her chin looks pretty good and normal. The colours in the mouth, nose and eyes area looks green-blue :argh: Like she was hit in the face.
Some more work is in order.
