I think the upper picture works better, composition wise. And I really like what you did with the background.
The characters need some work though. I like the linedrawing, but the shading definetly lacks depth. I think you could enhance the quality of the whole piece enormously by adding a definite lightsource from the left or right. Right now everything looks kinda flat.
And maybe trying to differentiate the lineweight more would help to put out the characters better.

thank you for your comments. I am still in the process of learning how to color well; hopefully the next time I will be better.

Meanwhile, I will try to do what you said to make this better...

I like the compsitions, but you could still work on the anatomy. borrow an anatomy book or something, it's very handy.

the skin color should have less black, you can substitute other darker colors here, black makes the whole image looks dirty. that's just my personal reference though, it could be your style. In that case, do whatever you want to it.

also, those hand wrapped around the knight guy is very disturbing to me. that pose just doesnt seem very comfy to me.

yes, the game is fully functional with well over 5000 online users at www.digisonline.com
