View Full Version : normal maps in max

I'm really struggling to get normal maps to look any good at all in max.

Can anyone by looking at the attached images spot what I'm doing wrong. I've used both mudbox and xnormal to extract the maps.

The first image is the model without any normal map, the second is object space and the third is tangent.
