Hello everyone,
I'm approching 3ds Max for the first time and as excercise I'd like to create a basic animation of the solar system. At the moment, I have just created several spheres in my scene and linked all the planets to the central sun throught hierachies. I thought to give different relations between each planet and the sun so that, at the end, rotating the sun all the planet will move automatically. Is that possible?
Second option, I thought to assign each planet an eclipse-path to follow. On this way I think I can have more flexibility and control of the scene, giving all the planets different value of speeds and self-rotations; but still I don't really know how to do it.
I'll keep trying to understand how I can make it, meanwhile any tips or advice is more than welcome!!
Thanks =)
