What an amazing piece of work. I love the feathers. The pic reminds me of Travis Charest who worked on the newer WildC.A.Ts comics. Check him out if you havn't already. Are you working as a cover artist anywhere? Keep up the good work, your "hurt" image is great as well.

wonderful stuff.
Wondering what he would look like with leather straps, etc, holding the beak in place?

Nice work!!
the only thing I can see that might need changing is the hand behind the legs. It almost looks like an afterthought that was just put in in about 5 seconds. You put such amazing detail in the other hand for its anatomy, yet the one farthest back doesn't hold that same anatomical feel. I like the "flat" grey for that and the strap though.
keep up the good work!:D

Many times we see black art, however bring together two artists and black art may turn white. In a postmodern society were there are no polar opposites you have done well to create the blur. However, forget what you know, and start a fresh, make another, we all need more of your creative cocietal artisism.

You've done a great job, but personally I would have added some few highlights - perhaps some light in the back of his head and maybe a bit on his shoulder and so.. you know what I mean.
With highlights it would look even more wicked, nice and aweful c00l.
I'm no expert thou - just giving you a friendly advice.
Awesome idea by the way.
All the best.
