Tools that are only logged int he Whats new section and not in the feature sets really need a video and/or tutorial.

Dopesheet editor
DopeMaster
Motion Dynamics
Compose using a character doing common animation

Older stuff:

Bloat
Flex / Flexcurves
Puppetmaster

Beta toolset like doesn't need a video but maybe added to the docs search engine:

Onionskin
Onionskin comes from the world of 2D animation, where animators could stack frames on top of each other to see how the motion progressed. In messiah it allows you to see previous frames and/or future frames. You can customize how far ahead to look, how far back, and how many steps to draw (draw every frame, every third frame, etc.). The interface hasn't been activated yet, so here's how to use it:

In the Command Port at the bottom left of the interface, type OTEST(1, 2, 3, 3, 10) and press Enter. The first parameter, the 1, is the on/off switch, 1 being on. The second, the 2, is an indicator for the type of drawing to use, you can try 1 if your card supports accumulation buffers, but otherwise just use 2. The next two numbers indicate how many frames before and after the current frame to draw. The last number sets how many frames between each timestamp to draw.

So in this example: OTEST(1, 2, 3, 3, 10) The 1 turns it on, the 2 sets the graphics card drawing type. The 3's tell it to draw three images prior to the current frame and three images after. The 10 tells it that each of those before & after frames should be 10 frames apart. (So on frame 100 it will draw the following frames: 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130. Frame 100 will be solid, and the rest will be ghosted.) Note: The onionskin effect is visible only for the currently selected item.

Here are a few samples. The settings for these are: OTEST(1, 2, 10,0,1) You probably wouldn't want to set it like the while animating, but it's really interesting looking. Points Wire A Wire B

Any other ideas

Videos are great help, especially to people just arriving.
Fred is charismatic is this field :)

However, there is no need to fear.
Some features are easy to understand.
Use low-poly geometry and do some simplistic tests.
It may take you some time, but it worths a lot.

This is just for all the newcomers
But I know that using new software can be frightening and all one need is a few problems to just blow it off so I was just listing a few things that messiah has but not really in the spotlight.

fred started all the video tutorial with the docs trend that exist today.
Messiah had videos and the like back in 1999 when project:messiah was released.
