I am using XSI version 3.5 and I have a model with a shader attached to it making the model transparent, however (to make a long story short) I was wondering how I could, in my viewports using shaded mode, have it not display the transparency.

Any help would be appreciated,

right click on the button on the top right of the viewport, the one that says "shaded" or whatever your display mode is. Then click "Display Options" and uncheck "Enable Transparency"

lol, it is always the simplist things, this will work for now but do you have any idea how to disable it for just one object?

Thanx,

there isn't a local properties driving OGL transparency, however you can work around it.

OGL can only track a limited amount of what goes on in the rendertree, so if you connect a mix2colors node to the transparency and drive the transparency with that it will show in rendering but not in OGL.
