View Full Version : I'm stuck with 1024*768 resolution

I'm stuck with 1024*768 resolution due to limitations in my flatscreen. Ordered the XSI Experience CD and almost started to cry when I couldn't use it. Is there a workaround? Some sort of GUI tweak that would allow me to rung this baby?

Hmm. Yeah, but XSI complains and it's menus are out of the screen. Maybe your post was ironic? Such things usually gets lost in my mind when I'm translating :)
To run XSI in 1024*768 download one of the 1024*768 layout files from www.edharriss.com
the drag and drop the downloaded files onto XSIs interface to install them. To actually use the new layout go to the "Layout" menu in XSI

Hm too bad  :hmm:
But if you had a full version, there's perfectly good layouts for 1024x768, although, I recommend anyone to run XSI at 1600x1200  15" flats aren't ideal for 3D ;)

Heh, believe me I know, I run lightwave on it with all the menus anb blabla. Really would have liked to have another screen. But, my girl insisted we get a flatscreen instead of a 19", and as you all know the king of every mans castle is his woman ;)
