View Full Version : Camera wiggle..
DiMay 09-22-2011, 04:52 PM Hey!
I'm start working with expressions in Nuke, and just stuck in some simple questions:
- How should looks expression to "wiggle" camera, or to add some "smooth noise" to movement?
Thanks a lot..

Check out the cameraShake node that comes with Nuke. Also if you copy it to a group, look at the expressions inside it driving the wiggle motion.
As for smooth animation. Click on the animation button of what you need to smooth > edit > filter

First copy the cameraShake node to a Group.

Now open the new "Group1" node's panel and go into it's internal "gut".

Now you will see the inside of this group and bring up the Transform node's properties.

Now when you see the expression for the transform node you will see the expression linking the controls on "Group1" properties bin to the transform's controls.

This gives you an idea of what controls in the Gizmo/Group link to which parts of the epression in the Transform node.
