Hey, how goes it?

I am creating this while I use the newly available demo of 3ds max 6. I figure once the demo is over, that I might not be continuing the project. But whatever, while the time limit is here, let's see how cool my onion can get. If I am succesful, I hope to save my onion model and learn how to be Evocative in the new Evocative forum, I think it's kind of neat and all. But that would be backwards motion for 3ds max versions, maybe changing some stuff. But who cares, it's just an onion

Here is a shot of a sketch below. I hope you like my drawing, I've definitely been getting better at it lately. I tried to be as good as possible with him/her, but I was taking the bus home.

edit: Alright, I've got the image back up

hey again. Sorry I left this wip behind, but yes I have worked on it gmask and thanks wgreenlee, I like the design too. All I've done is work on sketches a bit and think about modeling while doing history/english/math homework so on... heh. But the summer is coming and I am getting my sketch book out again and preparing for a good amount of time spent improving.

Anyhow, I really liked this design and I have a feeling that I'm going to continue working on it. I am really excited about getting back into modeling. Hopefully I'll have some more sketches of the fun onion within a few days.

Buhbyes :D

before I hit they hay for a few minutes, can anyone give me any tips for making an onion skin? I'm thinking of going out and buying a huge onion and scanning the skinns and going from there... But maybe there is a better solution?
