Hi,

I'm working on a rocket smoke trail using pflow and afterburn. But now I've come to a problem that I always run into and that is effecting the afterburn sphere size over particle age. It's probarly something with my pflow setup. What needs to happen is the first emitted particles need to be smaller then the last emitted particles. But when I set it up in afterburn it has no effect.

The 3dsmax scene file can be downloaded from this link: http://www.MegaShare.com/3595894
I hope someone can help me out.

Thanks in advance,
Maarten

Since your pretty new here a small piece of advice, use the search function :) We've answered this and similar questions quite a few times.

Chances are your particle flow system does not have a delete operator. This gives a particle a definite Lifespan which is needed for most calculations involving Age over Time.

So you have a couple of options, add a delete op to the global PF Source, add delete ops to specific events, or add Script or Data op that define Lifespan. :)

There is a built in help file in 3ds Max as well. It has tutorials and all sorts of goodies!
