An image I just completed for a calendar selling the merits of beer! - this one illustrating that 'the way to a man's heart is through a good beer!'

I tried modelling the heart with various methods including splines, but soon discovered that my preferred method (box modeling) was the best way for me to get a good even and suitable formed mesh.

The beer mat is made with SLA and includes Thinking Particles for the bubbles borrowed from Per Anders dew file (on his site) as a starting block.

I'll post other renders and models/mats when I get a chance.

Very nice, i'd get rid of that specular on the left (are you using blinn or phong btw? switch to blinn if you're still in phong illumination mode) and use a square reflection (use the environment channel, it'll save you some time)
