CGTalk - Animating a flash

Good evening or whatever time it is where you live.

I have an urgent problem and not even a tiny idea for a solution.
Need to animate a flash hitting an object. I need to concentrate on the flash. the hitting point is not the point of interest.

I'm not really sure what you mean. You mean like a spark? Or a flash as in strobe from a flash gun?

Yes adamT some electric spark! I just found a version 1.8 of the Bolt Classic plugin and will now try this one. If you know a different solution please tell me.
