MAYA ARTIST – UK
Striker3D is the company behind Striker. A cartoon strip with 18 years of history that went from ink and pencil to computer generated graphics five years ago. Only 10 week ago, Striker became the first new weekly comic, full-color, 32 pages in England for 25 years.
We are seeking up to three MAYA artists to expand Striker and work in new projects. The ideal candidate will have a professional understanding of MAYA from layout through to final render, with special focus in human characters posing and scene composition. Either a modeling or animation background is desirable. The ability to take direction well and a satisfactory portfolio are a must. Comics experience and/or good drawing skills a plus.
These are in-house positions. Freelance positions may be considered in the future. The studio is located in Tonbridge, Kent. At 40min. by train from London. Salary is commensurate with experience; Ideal candidate will live locally or in the London area.
