View Full Version : Linking linked Xforms...

I have a selection of vertices of a polyobject 'constrained' to a point helper using a poly select and a linked xform modifier. The object itself is linked to another point helper ('master'). the point helper of the xform is linked to the 'master' point helper too.

the problem? When moving the master helper, so the object and point helper moves with it, i get a double transformation on the xformed vertices, ie the vertices move independently of the object, while they should stay in the same position in relation to the object, and only move when the xform point helper is moved as a child, no ?

I hope i explained my problem clear enough. Any help?

Hmm, I should have searched first, true, I found this thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=80203&highlight=xform) too.

But both solutions don't really fit my case yet.
