View Full Version : Drop !
deadalvs 09-06-2011, 10:01 PM Does anybody have some more information on Digital Domain's (proprietary) RBD system called 'Drop' ?
Did it somehow influence the integration of the bullet solver in houdini 12 ?

Since it's a propriety system there isn't much information on it outside of what you showed there, and this Siggraph video: http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1837059 . I'm guessing the only influence it really had on H12 is that it may have just helped Sidefx decide to implement Bullet at all, though I doubt any of it actually came from DD.
