....don't take it personal, but you might get your thread deleted cause of only having 2 posts so far on these boards...re group and return if it happens. :buttrock:

Other than that, a few suggestions:
To get artists motivated to help, we have to bring something to the table.
A great idea may be enough if there is a fanbase- StarWars fanfilms for ex.
Otherwise either really good concept art, model work underway, or offering payment.

Huh. I wasn't prepared to have my posts deleted... Any idea why? There was obviously nothing duplicitous in what I posted. It's not like I was selling anything.

As for bringing something to the able, Grim Fandango is one of the highest regarded PC games of all time (and made by LucasArts, of Star Wars games fame). Plus it has a really interesting style (mimicking the calaveras used to celebrate the Mexican Day of the Dead). Unfortunately I can't offer payment, but if people are fans of classic games or interesting art style, it might pique their interest, but I know it's a bit of a long shot.

Edit: Could I mod explain why my post was deleted? I don't feel like posting again with the random threat of having what I write erased :(

That does explain it nicely, thank you. I should clarify: I wasn't interested in getting favors, but rather seeing if there was anyone interested in joining the project. But it's ok, my main reason for joining the forum was to try and learn more about 3D.
