Hello.

I recently graduated from the Academy of Art College (San Francisco) with a Bachelor of Computer Art degree in texture and lighting. I have strong texture skills and I enjoy painting textures with Photoshop or Acrylics in hand. And I¡¯m a good modeler of low and high detailed projects with Maya and 3D studio Max. I have lots of experiences using Mental Ray Brazil and Virtual light renderer. Moreover, I have knowledge of MEL scripting.

I¡¯m currently looking for a job in texture, lighting and modeling. At this point, I care less about how much money I make. I value more about what kind of experience I will gain within the company. And I'm willing to relocate anywhere in the US.

Thanks for considering.

Dear Taehoon,

We are currently looking for another 3d modeller to fill the position for our PC game title, "Shogo: War of the Clans". A game based around Fantasy in Early Japanese and Chinese history, around the 1860s.

Based upon such a thing, Shogo is born into two clans, a Japanese and Chinese clan, both at war with each other, fighting for the rule of both lands. The story is currently in development still, or a "re-construction". The game originated in the Year 2000, when the company Started, but we put it aside till we made a couple games first, now the time has come to make it. Some character classes which can be found in the game are some that many people have heard about, Such as the "Shinobi", the "Samurai", "Bo-Warrior", "Ninja", "Ronin", and others can also be found within the game. Characters can be customized with various clothing, facial features, height, head wear, weapons, etc.

This is only a bit of information available, some of it is being determined still, so expect some changes in the near future. The game is Single player and Multiplayer, planned to be released in 2004. As we've mentioned already, the game ideas and the story are still being created. If you are interested in what you've read already, e-mail me at timhand@hifi-entertainment.com

This position is a NON-PROFITABLE position. We hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Tim Hand
