Popbot and all its characters belong to Ashley Wood - Painter, illustrator & comic artist. I adore Mr. Wood's style & designs. Popbot's design rocks! Mwahahaha! ... ... Just wish I could get my hands on the comic and find out what the whole story iz about...... sniff sniff... money~~~

Once again, it's rather sketchy. a quick artwork that is neither really a sketch or an illustration. will do a proper one next time. this one's just to get my feet wet. If some of the foreshortening & perspective seems a bit funky, im sorry. will correct it next time.

now... must sleep... O___O

Hi Jeroen! Not much is up... except exams that is T_____T stupid 2d animation project is slowly killing me.... XD maybe I might post stuff on that up next time...

Apparantly, the name Ashley can be used on guys and girls. Like Ashley Riot from Vagrant Story (the hero).

I like the sketchy feeling of the drawing, really resembles Woods´style. I dig the blue/orange jumping on to my eye. The robot´s leg foreshortening is quite difficult to see.
What app did you use? I think the lines of your image have all the same thick, there´s a brush in painter classic, called pen/calligraphy wich really works as a traditional one, so you could give your strokes more variety, as this Ashley´s picture (http://www.ashleywoodartist.com/praxis2/img/gallery_images/191.jpg). Obviously, you could use the real one too.
BTW you´re doing traditional animation? Show here!

Aw man, Pancreas! Thanks for posting :) Really appreciate it. I used photoshop 7 to sketch this (wiv a wacom). And I apologise once again for the bad foreshortening :(

Hmm, the caligraphy pen, huh? I'll try that out on my next Popbot fanart ^___________^ Will explore other styles of drawing/sketching... will try varying line thicknesses too... as you can see, I'm still a bit stuck on my style... :D but I'll break out of it eventually! mwahhahaha!

yesh, am doing a 2d animation... still not finished... and no time to upload any of my stuff... projects' ending soon, so after that... i hope I'll have something to show :)
