CGTalk - Stupid Error

Ive got a model that loads fine but locks up max after about a minute. Happens everytime, usually just exporting and importing the model fixes these kinds of problems but in this case it hasnt.

Any ideas of what can be causing this error.

Im working with editable poly, i have texture maps and materials used. Max 5

Hi!

I had this (and other) problems with Max5, try to move to 5.1 and I think you can resolve that extrange things.

yeah the 5.1 release came really fast after 5 since they discovered some small but annoying bugs in 5. Short_Fuse is right. 5.1 is way more stable :D!
