View Full Version : Vray For Maya HDR Options..

When using Vray in 3DS Max you have options to control IBL via interface as seen here:

I can't seem to find a comparable dialogue in VRay for Maya..

At the most basic function I'd like to control the overall multiplier to increase or decrease brightness..

Does it exist?

it's in the Environment settings - but you can control the brightness of the HDR by making the Color Gain of the HDR's file attributes over 1 in V value.

You can also do this by applying an HDR to a V-Ray Dome Light
